The Tonda PF is the youngest watch family from Parmigiani Fleurier<\/a>.<\/strong> Like all collections of this independent Swiss luxury watch manufacturer, it testifies to cutting-edge horological know-how and design expertise. For discerning enthusiasts, it offers some of the most sought-after classic complications of fine watchmaking with fascinating details. <\/p>\n

Tonda PF Flying Tourbillon, introduced at Watches and Wonders 2023<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

These include chronographs, an haute-horlogerie model with a flying tourbillon, a practical annual calendar that only needs to be corrected once a year, and a a highly creative GMT watch that uses a rattrapante<\/em> mechanism. <\/p>\n

The artisanal flagship of the collection is a masterfully hand-skeletonized two-hand timepiece. The original debut model, the Tonda PF Micro-Rotor<\/strong>, also displays only the hours, minutes and date. It symbolizes the minimalist sophistication that the collection celebrates in every detail. <\/p>\n

At this year\u2019s Watches and Wonders, Parmigiani added a new iteration of the Tonda PF Micro-Rotor in 950 platinum to the collection, following the stainless-steel and rose gold executions released earlier. Water-resistant to 100 meters, the Tonda PF Micro-Rotor is entirely clad in this precious material, including the bracelet and dial. <\/p>\n

It is driven by the ultra-thin self-winding caliber PF703, which measures only 3mm in height, thanks to the integration of a platinum micro-rotor. It goes without saying that it is elaborately finished and decorated to the highest quality standards. <\/p>\n

With a diameter of 40mm, the Tonda PF Micro-Rotor measures only 7.8 mm on the wrist. The wide dial is made of sandblasted platinum and \u2013 reflecting the aesthetic spirit that guided its creation \u2013 entirely focused on the essentials. It features two skeletonized Delta-shaped hour and minute hands  and a date indication. As is de rigeur for the Tonda PF Micro-Rotor, the watch face is framed by a knurled bezel, which is also made of platinum. <\/p>\n

Pricing for the new Parmigiani Fleurier Tonda PF Micro-Rotor is marked at CHF 85,000 (approximately $92,400). <\/p>\n
