At this year\u2019s Watches and Wonders, IWC Schaffhausen<\/a><\/strong> unveiled its first 41mm Pilot\u2019s Chronographs in ceramic, the Pilot\u2019s Watch Chronograph 41 TOP GUN \u201cOceana\u201d<\/strong>. The newcomer features a case made of blue ceramic which was inspired by the color of the U.S. Navy\u2019s working overalls and developed in collaboration with Pantone. It takes to the skies with a blue luminescent dial and a matching blue rubber strap with a denim finish textile inlay. The pushers and the engraved case back are made of lightweight titanium.<\/p>\n

Also making its introduction is the Pilot\u2019s Watch Chronograph 41 TOP GUN<\/strong>. The timepiece is IWC\u2019s first 41mm Pilot\u2019s Chronograph with a \u201cJet Black\u201d black ceramic case. This material, inspired by the technical components of supersonic jets, has been a constant of the brand since it was established in 2007. A black dial and a black rubber strap complement the pitch-black ceramic case. Here, too, contrasting luminescent elements on the black hands and the dial enhance readability. <\/p>\n

Both chronographs are water-resistant to 100 meters and powered by the genuine self-winding 69380 caliber. As is typical for this collection of pilot watches, each is protected from magnetic fields by a soft-iron inner case. Thanks to brands EasX-CHANGE system the straps can be exchanged quickly without tools. <\/p>\n

Pricing for the IWC Pilot\u2019s Watch Chronograph 41 TOP GUN \u201cOceana\u201d is marked at $8,750, while the IWC Pilot\u2019s Watch Chronograph 41 TOP GUN retails for $11,700.<\/p>\n
