After the first campaign advertisements<\/a> had shown up in newspapers last Friday, the global watch community didn\u2019t need long to figure out that the shape of the crown featured in said ads could only mean one thing: after the MoonSwatch with Omega<\/a>, it seemed most likely that it was now time for a collab between Swatch<\/strong> and Blancpain<\/strong>, a member of the Swatch Group since 1992, and one of the oldest continuously used watchmaking names in the industry.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s a Blancpain crown\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

While we still don\u2019t know how the watch will look like, the final confirmation of the two brands joining forces came this morning: selected Swatch <\/strong>and Blancpain <\/strong>boutiques have received a surprise visit from HQ, delivering a professionally-sealed yellow Peli case, now carrying the final collab logo, consisting of a crown showing both the Swatch \u201cS\u201d<\/em> and the \u201cJB\u201d<\/em> from Blancpain (in honor of the company\u2019s founder Jehan-Jacques Blancpain) on top. <\/p>\n
