In 1895, <strong>Edouard Heuer<\/strong> patented the first waterproof pocket watch case. In modern times, the <strong>Aquaracer<\/strong>, introduced in 2003 and several times updated since, continues this legacy. Available with black, blue or green dials, the main features remain the same: 12-facet rotating bezel in scratch-resistant ceramic, unidirectional for the Aquaracer Professional 300 Date and bidirectional for the GMT version, screw-down crown, 300m water resistance, luminescence and the closed case-back engraved with a diving helmet. It provides a fitting backdrop for the updated minute track and the more prominent hour hand, which now has a shield shape to improve legibility. There is also the familiar magnified date display, but it has been moved to 6 o\u2019clock. Both offer a power reserve of 80 hours and bear a C.O.S.C. chronometer certificate. <\/p>\n<p>The TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 300 Date with a three-link bracelet including a steel folding clasp with double safety push-buttons and fine adjustment system is priced at $3,800. The Aquaracer Professional 300 GMT with a three-link bracelet is marked at $4,200.
