Louis Erard<\/a> <\/strong>and Donz\u00e9 Cadrans<\/strong> have teamed up for a limited edition of the independent Swiss brand\u2019s Le R\u00e9gulateur timepiece. As a result, Louis Erard\u2019s signature model features a grand feu<\/em> enamel dial, a first for the company. <\/p>\n

A traditional and time-consuming technique, grand feu <\/em>involves a meticulous process in which layers of enamel are applied and fired at temperatures exceeding 800\u00b0C. It requires a high level of expertise and experience and ensures vibrant and long-lasting colors. <\/p>\n

On the Le R\u00e9gulateur Grand Feu Enamel, the deep ivory hue provides a magnificent background for the separate time display, with the minute literally taking center stage. The traditionally blued hands in the brand\u2019s fir-tree style contrast beautifully with the enamel background.<\/p>\n

The Le R\u00e9gulateur Grand Feu Enamel<\/strong> comes in a 39mm stainless steel case. It houses a personalized self-winding caliber based on the Sellita SW266-1. A gray calfskin strap completes the refined look. The watch is limited to 99 pieces and retails for CHF 4,550 or approximately $5,000 when converted to USD.<\/p>\n
