One year after the brand’s founding, Byrne Watch presents the Zero Pink Gold, along with a limited edition featuring diamond set indexes, earlier this year at the Geneva Watch Days 2023. The timepiece is based on an intriguing concept: every day at midnight – or noon, according to the wearer’s preference – the four main indexes, designed as rotating cubes at 3, 6, 9, and 12 o’clock, change their appearance in a flash, thereby lending a new look to the dial of the two-hand timepiece.
The case, crafted from pink gold, measures 41.7 mm x 48.1 mm, with a height of 14.45 mm. The case back is made of titanium. The rhodium-plated hand-wound genuine caliber 5555, development in Fleurier in the Swiss Jura Mountains, is visible on the dial side and has a power reserve of 60 hours. Manually-finished in accordance with Swiss traditions, it presents a sleek and contemporary aesthetic.
In the jewelry edition limited to ten pieces, the four “faces” of the cardinal indices showcase refined jewelry skills. They are set with forty black and forty white diamonds in a triangular motif. Another side displays the classic “Sport” numerals and, while there is also the option with no numerals at all.
Both executions of the Byrne Zero Pink Gold are attached to a rubber/textile strap from the French strap manufacture Jean Rousseau. Pricing is begins at $37,500 up to $59,000 (excl. VAT).
